Girls, you're confusing.
I'm currently in the living room painting a background for a drawing of a jellyfish I did. Its an alright drawing, though I'll probably highlight it with paint. I drew it with Conte crayons and colored pencils.
I can't believe I'm almost done with college.

Why you shouldn't read Bukowski at 1 am
Well, the reason you shouldn't read Bukowski at one am is that you'll get out of bed, sit down at the computer, and write a poem about the recent discovery of the Marilyn Monroe sex tape.
Thats pretty much it.

Also....
Does anyone have four hundred dollars that they want to spend on me? I really really really want this book.
It is like a Lovecraft fans dream come true. But I am poor. Ah well. Someday.

The singularity is coming closer
So I'm having a kind of manic evening. Not really sure why to be honest. I haven't eaten or drank anything out of the ordinary. I ate a normal meal at a normal time, a rarity for me lately. I've been overeating and oversleeping a lot.
I have an idea for an article to submit to a local paper. If you were a small independent paper, would you run an article on common household spiders, and how to recognize the poisonous ones as a kind of springtime piece? I'm really fascinated by spiders, particularly Wolf spiders. They're kind of cute. Though I try to stay away from the ones with venom.
I did write a poem this evening called 'Coda'. Essentially a piece about dealing with depression, through using the trope of a personal end of the world. I'm going to write about the Hopi Spider Grandmother next. We can all thank my father for introducing me to her through a small piece of paper that has been hanging on the fridge for as long as I can remember.
'Two rules of the Hopi Spider Grandmother'
Don't go around hurting each other
and
Try to understand things.
Things I think we could all take to heart.

Align me with that
I could be a bit more mindful of updating this as well as writing more often. You can't improve any skill if you sit back and let it atrophy. And believe me, lately my writing has been getting no exercise. I mostly just do the class prompts and then go off to read or something. I think the main reason for this is that I'm really quite tired all of the time. I come home from work or class, work out and then all I want to do is relax. But I need to write more. Please, yell at me if you see I haven't been trying my best.
I did do a couple of interesting short prompts the other day, one a very short story told from a child's perspective. I enjoyed it but have no idea if it is any good. My poetry, at least according to Professor Wakoski, has taken a downward turn in this half of the semester. We'll see if I can bring things up. I hope so. I'm a little worried.
I am trying Buddhist meditation. I'll let you know how that goes.
My arm is falling asleep for some reason, so I think its bedtime. Later folks. Have a wonderful evening, wherever you are.

I love this show
Well, Murphy's Law is shitting all over my life lately, but its not much in the way of the writing department. I did get my poem 'Free Kittens' into a poetry contest as an honorable mention. Here is the link.
So yeah, thats alright I guess. The story hasn't progressed at all since I last posted. I'm lost as far as the western themes go. I have a general idea, but not much of a way to expand it. We'll see.
I need to start posting in this more.
